Operational Functions of the EB-CDM

• The spokes person, nationally and internationally, for the EC-CDM;

• Maintain constant relations with the CDM Executive Board;

• The one-stop-desk for CDM project operators;

• Transmit the projects to the EC-CDM for their sanction on the approved projects;

• Initiate contacts and communicate with potential CDM stakeholders (Investors, project developers, Operational Entities, etc.)

• Communicate, nationally as well as internationally, on Egyptian CDM procedures, organization and project portfolio.

• Ensure the monitoring of projects throughout their life cycles;

• Get fully updated on the evolution of rules and procedures of the CDM at international level and to suggest pro-active actions to the EC-CDM;

• Organize the meetings of the EC-CDM;

• Prepare the annual report of the CDM activities in Egypt, on behalf of the EC-CDM, and get the report approved by the Council.
